Transportation

Currently, we have four buses coming in from as far as Rockwood to the west, Erin, to the north, Norval to the east and Milton from the south.  Please call or come in to the school to see exact bus routes. 

1.  What happens if there is inclement weather?
The bus company (Laidlaw Transportation Ltd.) calls the Transportation Co-ordinator if weather/road conditions are such that no bus will be running.  The co-ordinator activates a telephone chain (produced annually in October), and all parents are thereby notified that the school will be closed.  School closures  will also be announced on CFRB (1010).

2.  What if I want to pick up my children at the end of the school day or they want to go home with a friend?
Students waiting for cars after school must wait by the flagpole.  Cars should be parked in the church parking lot and parents should walk to the flagpole to pick up their children.  If a student is to go to a place other than their home or the usual bus stop, a written note must  be brought in.  Without notes, students will go on the bus as usual.
