Battle of the Books
Each year our school participates in the Battle of the Books. Students who wish to participate read 8 to 10 books from a specific list and study them thoroughly. They practice and prepare as a team. Then they travel to another Christian school where they will compete against other schools. Each time they compete with a team they are asked a series of different styles of questions in two different rounds called the lightning round and the battle round. Points are scored in each competition and these points are totaled to discover which team will be the winner of the Battle of the Books for that year.
